Requested routine furnace and humidifier maintenance service and got an appointment quickly.  Service technician (Jon) was highly professional, arrived on time, explained clearly what he was doing and how furnace operated, performed all services well, shared great tips and suggestions, was very careful of my property, and was very polite and respectful. Chevy and Scott arrived on the morning of October 23, 2023 to remove our 20 year old HVAC system and install a new Trane system, and were complete by the next afternoon.  They were efficient, polite, friendly, neat & clean and respected our home.  They deserve 5stars + for their work.  They are welcome back at any time. We needed to replace our system and I wanted certain components added to specific areas of new system to give my family the best possible indoor air quality I could.  I received quotes from the 4 major manufacturers and discussed my options in depth with the 4 companies including my custom requirements.   Mike from Kohl was extremely knowledgeable and provided competitive prices. We got several estimates to replace our 32 year old furnace and air conditioning, we decided to go with Mike at Kohl Heating. He did a great job explaining everything, wasn't pushy and gave us a fair price. At time of install he sent 3 guys to do it. Dave, Jayson and another guy (skinny with tattoos) . These guys were wonderful. Dave was full of personalty and kept everybody moving forward. You could tell all of them knew what they were doing. They put down drop clothes on the floor and kept the area clean at all times. When the job was finished we couldn't be happier. Couldn't be happier with our new Trane heat pump and air handler!  Mike reviewed our office and had a great solution for us.  Mike even had a suggestion for better air flow that he implemented.  The guys that did the install were very knowledgeable and professional.  Office has been very comfortable since the installation. My furnace stopped working on Dec 14, 2022.  I called my home warranty company, AHS , and they sent a tech out to repair furnace.  The tech said the furnace needed an air pressure switch. I had to make numerous calls to find out , that the part was back ordered.  My furnace is 7 years old, with parts under warranty of 10 years. Trane furnaces are good and that is why I bought one.  I wanted to get a second opinion and called J&A South Park heating.  When the tech arrived, he disputed what the first tech said, and told me it needed a control board. After charging me 400 plus, he told me it needed an air pressure switch.  With no luck hearing back from AHS and Air Pro Heating, I decided to call Trane.  The girl that answers told me to call Kohl Heating in Cranberry Twp, Pa.  I called and talked to Gail who was very helpful and ready to help me.  Gail was very professional , knowledgeable, and made numerous calls to Trane, keeping me informed of the progress being made. On Feb 22, 2023, Gail called me and said, a tech was on the way to install my air pressure switch. If not for Kohl services, I would still be without heat. Gail even offered me space heaters, being thoughtful and kind.  From December 14, 2022 until February 22, 2023, I was without heat. AHS, Air Pro Heating , and J&A South Park had no interest in returning my calls. Thank you Gail, and Kohl Heating for your help and outstanding work.  Kohl heating is the best and hope you will call them for your heating/cooling, and I am so GLAD I did and will again.
